The Angler
A little rugged. A little refined.

I’ve always loved the sporting clothes of the 1970s and 80s. They were well-designed, utilitarian, and just a little swashbuckling - the kind of pieces that carried both purpose and flair, and which are now almost impossible to find.
The Angler was created to capture some of that spirit: bold and functional, with a stance that nods to vintage sporting gear, yet refined through the advantages of modern technology. Handmade in London, its polarised lenses cut through surface glare, and the frame has been purposefully designed with fishing in mind. To go with it, each pair comes with a custom cloth and a green leather case, also handmade in London - built with the same care and attention as the frame itself.
This first edition is limited to just 25 pairs.
Hand crafted frames
The Cubitts workshop marries traditional techniques and modern technology. A slower approach to spectacle making, but a better one, for frames that last a lifetime.
Precision lenses
Cubitts frames are fitted with the highest quality ZEISS ClearView lenses, with DuraVision® coatings. Antistatic, hydrophobic, scratch resident, anti-reflective, and UV-protective layers included as standard with all spectacles and sunglasses.
Frame care
Each frame comes with everything needed to stay in fine fettle. Including an ultra lightweight, exceptionally strong case, complimentary artist-designed cleaning cloths, and lens cleaner refills for life.
