How can I make a return or exchange?

We offer a 30-day no-quibble return or exchange policy from the date you receive your order.

How to make a return:

  • For orders to the UK and US, returns are free. You can create a pre-paid return label here

  • For the rest of the world, return postage is paid by the sender. Please send your return to Cubitts Returns, 55-61 Brewery Road, London, N7 9QH, United Kingdom.

  • Drop your return off to any of our stores.

Typically, the refund will take 3-5 working days to show up on your bank statement from when we receive it.

What is the returns policy on Made to Measure and Bespoke frames?

For bespoke products, we offer a frame fit guarantee. We'll adjust or remake any bespoke frame until you're completely satisfied.

Made to Measure and Bespoke frames, and monogrammed cases cannot be returned or exchanged. We will, of course, do what we can to help resolve any issues with these orders if there is a fault or further adjustments need to be made.

 

Can I return an online order in-store?

Absolutely. Any of our stores will be happy to process a refund or exchange for you.

 

Can I return an unused gift card?

Yep, unused gift cards can be returned within 30 days of the order date.

When can I expect my order?

Most spectacles and sunglasses will be glazed to order, and will depend on your prescription and on having the required information.

Order preparation times:

  • Accessories - Shipped next day

  • Non-prescription orders (including non-prescription sunglasses) - Ready to ship in 2 days

  • Single vision prescription orders (standard lenses) - Ready to ship in 5 days

  • Single vision prescription orders (thinner and thinnest lenses) - Ready to ship in 10 days

  • Polarised lenses - Ready to ship in 10 days

  • Varifocal lenses - Ready to ship in 10 days

  • Services - 5 days from arrival at our UK workshop

Shipping times once your order is ready:

  • UK - next day

  • Europe - 3-5 days

  • US - 7-9 days (currently 10 - 14 days)

  • Rest of the world - 7-10 days

We’ll update you when your order has been shipped.

 

How are orders shipped?

For UK deliveries, your parcel will be sent with DPD for next working day delivery (Royal Mail for any order under £75).

For US deliveries, your parcel will be shipped from our New York store with USPS. European and Rest Of The World deliveries, we use DHL Worldwide Express air freight.

We ship to the following countries, both from online and in-store:

Spain can only order frames with non-prescription lenses or accessories.

 

What taxes or duties are payable?

Orders delivered to the UK and US have no duties or tariffs.

Orders delivered to the EU or the rest of the world may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are estimated during the checkout.

Important message for German Customers: Taxes will be charged at checkout but please be aware that duties will be charged by the courier during transit.

 

How much does shipping cost?

All store collections are free.

If you purchase in store, shipping will incur a fee;

Delivery costs:

  • UK store to a UK address: £5.95

  • UK store to a US address: £20

  • UK or US store to a EU / ROW address: £20 / $20 / €24

  • US store to a US address: $8

If you purchase online;

  • We offer free shipping for all online orders over £150 / $200 / €180*  to the UK, US, EU, and worldwide.

If your order is under these amounts, a shipping fee applies:

  • UK: £5.95

  • US / EU / ROW: $20 / €24 / £20

Due to recent changes with German customs, we’re no longer able to calculate duties at checkout, so additional charges may apply during delivery.

 

Can I collect in store?

Yep, You can choose to collect your order from any of our stores. Collect in store is free.
