Our sunglasses come with prescription single vision lenses as standard, included in the price of £125. We also offer some specialist lenses at an additonal cost for those looking for something a bit extra.

All of our sun lenses are UV400 rated. Meaning they block out all UVA and UVB light up to the top end of the spectrum - meaning great protection for your eyes.

Single vision lenses correct vision for one field at either near (reading or close work), intermediate (computer use), or distance (general use e.g. driving). You can order these lenses with any tint both online and in store.

As prescriptions get stronger lenses become thicker. For (-) prescriptions the thickness is at the edge of the lens. For (+) prescriptions the thickness is at the centre. High index lenses have a flatter curvature, making them thinner. This is only necessary with prescriptions over +/-4.50.

We offer 1.6 (thin) or 1.67 (thinnest) index lenses online and in store, depending on the strength of your prescription.

For certain tints, lens index's can affect the strength of the tint. Please speak to our customer service team for more information.

Non-prescription lenses are tinted, with all of the above coatings and optional extras. Just no prescription. You can order these lenses with any tint both online and in store.

Progressive lenses have three prescriptions in one pair of glasses. That allows you to do close-up work (like reading a book), middle-distance work (like checking out a website on a computer), or distance viewing (like driving) without needing to change your glasses.

You can order progressive, bifocal, digital and occupational lenses with any tint in our stores or through our customer service team, but not online.

Polarized lenses minimise the glare which is created when sunlight is reflected off surfaces such as wet roads or snow.

They have a filter consisting of horizontally aligned molecules forming a dense grid. This blocks out horizontal light waves, and reduces glare on the eye. This can be particularly useful around water or snow where horizontal light reflects from the surface and causes glare.

All of our spectacles are available with light reactive lenses, which tint in response to the amount of light in your environment in under 30 seconds. Purchase in store or simply add "light reactive" when selecting lenses in your basket for an additional £100.
