Goldfinger specialises in creating furniture from reclaimed wood, and offers school woodworking courses and traineeship programmes to young people in the local area.

Naturally, Marie's own life mixes the functional and the romantic. She brings Tom a trio of useful things: a Goldfinger cake stand with the coordinates of the tree it came from stamped on the base, a hand made matcha bowl, and a wedding band made with a combination of golds belonging to Marie and her husband.
