Industrial strength on the tip of your nose
The Cubitts collection of steel frames uses 304 surgical grade stainless steel, widely used in jewellery. Not as strong as you were when you went through that thing, but strong nonetheless.
With a nose bridge drawn from the architecture of the St Pancras train shed, and acetate-sleeved temple tips inspired by Constantin Brâncuși’s Bird in Space. Form and function in beautiful harmony.
Optional adornments to the surgical steel are Cubitts’ own Windsor Rims in Mazzucchelli acetate, providing an additional layer of colour and personality. Developed in house, the Cubitts Windsor Rim has a variable thickness and is pressure bonded, to secrete those stronger prescription lenses.
