Adding deeper nose pads

Spectacles that fit are a right, not a privilege.

The workshop can add deeper, adjustable nose pads to any Cubitts acetate frame. The existing acetate pad is sanded away, and a new metal insert is screwed on.

These new nose pads can be easily manipulated, so your frame perches perfectly upon your nose, correctly framing your eyes, with an even spread of pressure.

Nose pads come in a range of materials: silicon, PVC, titanium and ceramic.

When to choose a nose pad addition

• If a frame sits too low on your face, obstructing your vision
• If a frame sits too close to your face, touching your eyelashes or your cheeks
• If a frame isn’t comfortable on the bridge
• If a frame slips down your nose, even after it’s been properly fitted to your face
